Notes

It's winter. Hiroki is an orphan who moves to Chikusei to live with his relatives.

He has difficulties getting along with others and starts skipping school until one day he meets freelance worker Watanabe.

In order to seek attention from Hiroki's homeroom teacher, whom he has a crush on, Watanabe approaches Hiroki. Soon friendship develops between them despite their age differences.

One day, Watanabe tells Hiroki about the great local festival and the best Mikoshi (portable shrine) in Japan. Hiroki can't wait until summer comes to see the festival.

As Hiroki's time in Chikusei comes to an end, Watanabe comes up with an action plan…!
